Cinemas around Camden

Odeon Cinema London Tottenham Court

30 Tottenham Court Rd, Bloomsbury, London W1T 1BX, UK – 0333 014 4501

Very small, hard to find, couldn't believe it was actually there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would not pay to upgrade the seats, next to no legroom, but a higher seat, ok for me, but Husband unable to sit properly, if under 5'8 you will be fine.

One of my favourite Odeon cinemas to have my SBAR(Sit back and relax) after a busy day @ work...just walking distance from Tottenham court road or goodge street underground stations

Odeon Cinema Camden

14 Parkway, Camden Town, London NW1 7AA, UK – 0333 014 4501

The advantages of this Odeon rely mostly on its very convenient location I think. However, some screens are small, in which they perform the least popular movies, so it actually kind of makes sense that not all screens are huge. Took off one star because once the movie didn’t finish, there were some technical issues with the equipment so we couldn’t watch the last 20 minutes or so of the movie. They did offer free passes for that or any other movie, but still, I spent 2 hours sitting there to not get the complete movie, it was a waste of my time. But anyway, that’s the only bad experience I’ve ever had. So, because of its location (near to my home), and sometimes convenient prices, I might be coming back.

Really enjoyed my experience here. From the outside it looks very small but I was pleasantly surprised once inside. No complaints with the visuals or audio, both were very good. The seating was also excellent with no obstructions where I was or in fact anywhere else in the room I was in (screen 3). If I had one complaint it would be that I found it quite hard to find my seats in the dark as the numbers/lettering are not very visible.

Odeon Cinema Leicester Square

24-26 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7JY, UK – 0333 014 4501

Amazing screen biggest I have seen so far. The sound is great as well.

We went for premium seating and were up fairly high on the balcony in the main screen. The auditorium is huge which had the effect of making the screen look a little small by comparison to other large central London cinemas. The food service area was a little small and would quickly develop a long queue if it was busy. No coffee is served by they allow you to bring in from the Costa next door. The cinema building is lovely and well worth a visit.

Theatres for Camden

Delfont Mackintosh Theatres

5 Aldwych, London WC2B 4LD, UK – 0844 482 5138

Always brilliant to deal with, I have exchanged tickets no problem more than once. Really nice company to deal with and great productions. Infinitely better than the awful Ticketmaster.

Great theatre, great stuff! Too bad my daughter and I could not fully enjoy the show (Mamma Mia) for some rude and abnoxious girls behinds us who talked the whole time. There were many announcements about cell phones and photos, perhaps something should be mentioned about staying quite as well, although those ignorant girls would have probably ignored it anyway.

Fortune Theatre Box Office

Russell St, London WC2B 5HH, UK – 0844 871 7626

Great show

Theatre Royal, Drury Lane

Catherine St, London WC2B 5JF, UK – 0844 412 4660

Beautiful theatre maintained immaculately front of house at least! The bar behind the royal circle is stunning: double height Georgian long gallery with frescos and intricate column work - beautiful space to enjoy a drink before the show! Very comfortable chairs and excellent toilet facilities, didn't have to queue at all! Helpful and friendly staff rounded out the visit.

Very nice, well maintained and specious theatre with very kind, professional and friendly stuff. We arrived few minutes late but we were still let in and taken to even better seats than we had. The wine at bar was great too. Fully diserved 5 stars.
